Woodside master bedroom.

How do you update your master bedroom ready for winter? The keys to this space was plenty of warm tones to keep things from feeling cold. The extra layer was a simple gallery wall above the bed for an interesting and personal feature.

How we achieved this look:

  1. Warm tones

When updating a space for the winter months ensure to use warm tones in the mix. Even if you love grey and blues, balance these out with a dash of taupe, blush, mustard or cream to keep things feeling warm.

2. Collection of Art

Mix up your art collection and find pieces that can be grouped together to create a statement piece. Use art above the bed, or on an adjacent wall - remember to hang them close enough to each other so they act as one design element together.

3. A splash of Black

If you’re wondering why your space doesn’t feel 100% finished, it could be that it needs a splash of black. Here the black bed frame works as the anchoring piece in the midst of all the beautiful tones.
