How do you transform a bland space into a cosy coastal style Airbnb master bedroom? The focus here was on a cohesive, peaceful colour scheme and lots of warm layers. This master bedroom is comfortable and serene - just what you need for a good night’s sleep when on holidays.

Zoning
Adding an extra reading/relaxing zone to the bedroom is a huge plus - even in a small space. This opens up the possibilities for guests to use a master bedroom in different ways, which is especially a winner in a holiday home where privacy and extra living areas are key. A place to drink coffee while savouring the view? Yes please.
2. Lux Layering
Lots of layers to cater for people’s sleeping comfort levels ticks lots of boxes in an Airbnb. To elevate the space include layers of different fabrics, including some velvet for that luxury touch.
3. Cohesive Colours
Working with a small space? All the more important to stick to your chosen colour palette of 3-4 main hues. This keeps the space feeling spacious, and if you reference some of the colours from the living zones you end up with a cohesive space overall.
